Datel Electrical Ltd will be at Kingskerswell Summer Fayre at the
end of July so we will hopefully see you there!  We have also
donated a prize to the raffle so make sure get some tickets!!!

Hanburys Music Festival – Babbacombe
Sunday 19th June 2011
Babbacombe Downs was awash with Datel’s orange balloons.
Our guys handed out electrical safety information and free
energy saving light bulbs at our stand.

Royal Wedding Celebration – Kingskerswell Parish
Meadows, Saturday 29th April 2011
Datel had a great time on the meadow, offering electrical safety
information and entertaining the children with our new Splat a
Rat game!  Hopefully we helped make the day a success for the
Kingskerswell Scouts who organized the daytime event.

Napoli Salvage Operation, Branscombe - 2007
Datel Electrical Installations of Torbay were recommended to
Brookes Bell Marine Scientific & Technical Consultants and
Surveyors of Liverpool to install a “Scarecrow” Bird Scaring Unit
on the MSC Napoli to avoid birds nesting on the ship until it is
taken away for salvage.

Datel’s engineers David and Peter were ferried by Meridian
Express to the Napoli and off loaded tools and equipment on to
the ship by ropes helped by the tug boat crew. 3 “Scarecrow”
speakers were fitted to the top of the exhaust stack 30 - 40
meters above sea level, 1 speaker above the Bridge and 1 in
front of the Bridge. The main “One Shot Scarecrow” unit being
fitted in the main Bridge. These alarms are humane with no
birds being injured.
